just dont expect any dedicated OSX software. YES the Panasonic HDD SDR-H20 IS Mac happy. Its whether or not the quality is there with PC editing on something like Pinnacle Studio which was excellent or whether iMovie automatically lowers the resolution of raw footage from stage one as a trade off for its 'ease of use' to Joe Public. Three different control schemes and customizable controls with relevant options to display buttons only when you need them. Many Different type of vehicle and Weapons for destroy and save your life. but first impressions show that the Panasonics ARE Mac friendly. Full camera and movement control, Move your Character face 360° angle and Experience open world 3D Graphics. compiling a fiddly DVD which has taken 5 hours to convert and now another 3 hours to encode on iDVD. a selection of converted Sony files, AVI and MPEG4 stuff.

I am currently as I type creating a long winded movie using various past converted footage. up comes iMovie Import page and all the thumbnailed files from the Panasonic went straight in there. So I took some H20 test ugged the USB cable into the Mac and voila. it worked but the results were a bit disappointing and long winded to say the least.
it simply does not see the 'muxed' MPEG2 nonstandard files so I used Visual Hub. after having depressing failure with the technically superior Sony DVC 290 HD camcorder on iMovie. I have only JUST bought the Panasonic SDR-H20.
